Overview of Corporate Communications Coordinator role: L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a Corporate Communications Coordinator to support the planning, creation, and execution of global communications and engagement initiatives for employees, alumni, and other key stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Alumni Relations, the Coordinator will work closely with colleagues across offices, regions, and functions to help strengthen connection, culture, and engagement across the firm’s global community.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early‑career communications professional to deepen their experience across internal and external communications, employee engagement, alumni relations, and corporate storytelling—while helping to tell the firm’s story in a clear, compelling, and consistent way.
Key Responsibilities: Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
Write, edit, and coordinate a variety of internal communications including firmwide emails, intranet articles, newsletters, presentations, and other firm publications, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and engaging.
Play a key role in coordinating and developing communications for the firm’s charitable giving and volunteerism program and other global engagement initiatives.
Assist in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement efforts.
Alumni Communications & Engagement
Develop and coordinate a range of content to engage the firm’s global alumni community, such as newsletters, web copy, social media posts, and event invitations.
Provide coordination, as well as communications and logistical support, for alumni events globally, including virtual and in‑person programs.
Assist in maintaining alumni communication platforms and data.
Collaborate with internal teams to support the evolution of the firm’s alumni strategy, outreach initiatives, and engagement programs.
Corporate Communications & Storytelling
Draft content for external communications initiatives such as press releases, firm announcements, and content for corporate social media channels.
Help track and measure communications activities and engagement metrics.
Provide general support across corporate communications projects and initiatives as needs and opportunities arise.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, marketing, or a related field.
At least 1–3 years of experience developing and supporting internal and/or external communications (e.g., announcements, newsletters, presentations, social media content, web copy, press releases); experience in a corporate, professional services, or agency environment preferred.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential. Strong attention to detail and able to synthesize feedback from various sources into writing and messaging.
Highly organized, deadline‑oriented, and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a collaborative mindset and interest in working as part of a global team.
Strong competency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
Finalists will be asked to provide writing samples and/or participate in a writing exercise.

In Illinois and Massachusetts, the base salary is between $50,000 - $60,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus, profitsharing and other benefits.
