Our client operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and is undergoing internal organizational changes that require senior-level HR consultation and strategic people support.
Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a high-level advisor and consultant during a period of organizational transition. This role functions as a senior individual contributor and will partner closely with leadership to assess current HR practices, provide data-driven insights, and implement people strategy solutions across core HR functions. The ideal candidate brings strong consultative experience, deep HR expertise, and the ability to evaluate and enhance processes for efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary HR consultant for assigned client groups, delivering strategic and hands‑on guidance across employee relations, performance management, total rewards, and talent initiatives
Partner with organizational leaders to assess workforce needs, recommend solutions, and support effective change management during departmental transitions
Interpret and apply HR policies, programs, and employment laws to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices
Lead and execute HR‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery and cross‑functional collaboration
Analyze workforce and employee data, developing reports, dashboards, and insights to inform leadership decision‑making
Evaluate existing HR processes and policies, identifying opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency
Collaborate with a large, cross‑functional HR team to support shared goals and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide expert guidance on employee engagement, risk mitigation, and complex employee relations matters
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Strategy, or HR Business Partner roles
Prior experience working in a consultative or project‑based HR capacity within a mid‑to‑large organization
Strong working knowledge of ADP (required)
In‑depth understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
SHRM certification and/or Master’s degree in HR or related discipline preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder advisory skills
Additional Details:
This is a project‑based contract role supporting an HR team navigating internal changes
No defined end date; duration dependent on business needs
Interview process includes one interview with the hiring manager, with a potential second step
