Continuous Improvement Specialist (Springfield MO)
This position will act as site administrator for the CNH Reman Business System Repository system and generate reports for management and pillar leads.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency related to:
CNH Reman Business System data
LDM performance, closing Problem Solving tags rates, 5S. Waste analysis, Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis.
Indirect and overhead administrative labor for all technical pillars within CNH Reman Business System.
Coordinate with IT for creating, automating, and maintaining the CNH Reman Business System Repository system.
Act as the site administrator for the CNH Reman Business System Repository system.
Provide regular updates and reports to management team and pillars.
Schedule, track, and record CNH Reman Business System related training courses organized within the plant.
Follow Problem Solving Tags numbering system for CNH Reman Business System documentation.
Utilize project management skills and experience; effectively communicate and demonstrate successful organizational and planning skills.
Support CNH Reman Business System initiatives as a key member of Cost deployment, Focused improvement, and People development pillars.
Analyze existing procedures for performance improvements.
Develop support tools.
Conduct tasks and assignments as directed while looking for efficiencies.
Requirements:
Minimum associate’s degree or 2 years’ experience in analytics.
Strong written and communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work in an environment providing extended support.
Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work to achieve personal and company goals.
Demonstrated ability to understand and learn new technology related to tasks and processes.
Demonstrated ability to attend to detail on an ongoing basis.
Ability to think critically, comprehend, document issues, and gather beneficial information to assist and expedite problem solving.
Experience with data analytics and reporting solutions.
Minimum GED or high school diploma. Must be able to read MSDS sheet.
Walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, reaching. Requires at least 30 hours of service per week.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field with emphasis on application technology, business, or industrial technology.
