Join our Commodities and Global Market Trade Capture team as a Loan IQ Business Analyst. Our Trade Capture team plays a pivotal role in delivering Macquarie’s Data, Design, Digital and Engineering strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our Trade Capture system initiative, a key program within our Commodities and Global Markets group. We are passionate about providing innovative data-driven solutions, enabling seamless trade capture management, and enhancing the end-to-end trade lifecycle within our wide range of Macquarie platforms.

What role will you play? In this role, you will partner with aligned technology teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions using Loan IQ, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business and transaction needs and participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle, including testing vendor upgrades and patches, managing defects, and understanding new functionality. You will also provide functional support to Deal Management Teams for day‑to‑day system use, liaise with finance and data teams to ensure downstream records are accurate. This role is ideal for a graduate with corporate experience who is eager to partner with technology teams and senior business stakeholders to deliver solutions within the Finastra Loan IQ product.

What you offer

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial services or technology role

Knowledge of Loan IQ and commercial lending

Proficiency in SQL with a good foundation in database concepts

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp complex concepts

Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
