What you’ll be doing

Review status of assigned delinquent Mortgage loans and initiate appropriate collection action based on whether the loan is an in‑house loan or a serviced secondary market loan.

Prepare correspondence for delinquent accounts, contact members and cosigners via phone and email as necessary.

Work with other credit union departments with collection efforts.

Assist members with issues and resolve within 24 - 48 hours.

Act as a consultant for real estate‑related member solutions.

Conduct calling on Home Improvement loan delinquency.

Conduct calling on Home Equity calling for accounts under 10 days and between 11-30 days delinquent.

Conduct calling on Dupaco Mortgages, FNMA Mortgages, and FHLB Mortgages 17-30 days delinquent.

Monitor and track repayment plans for delinquent mortgage accounts.

Conduct calling on bankrupt mortgage accounts to be worked under 30 days.

Complete monthly reporting for FHLB, FNMA, PMI, and property inspections.

Receive inspection reports and document account notes accordingly.

Send hardship packets and review Borrower Response Packages (BRP) within 48 hours of receipt to verify completeness before forwarding to Senior staff.

Send acceleration notices as required.

Verify property taxes are paid prior to sending acceleration notices.

Manage workflow for deceased Mortgage Loan and Home Equity accounts, including member contact.

Process removal of non‑accrual status on applicable accounts.

File NFP (Non‑Performing Financials) claims and complete monthly reporting.

Review HELOC loans over 90+ days past due for current lien position.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

1+ years of related experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent Dupaco Community Credit Union in a positive way.

Thorough knowledge of secondary market and mortgage loan collection procedures and related legal requirements.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Ability to read and understand contract issues.
