About the Role
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding Intellivo’s information assets by executing advanced security operations, monitoring threats, and supporting compliance initiatives. This position works under the direction of the Information Security Manager to implement security controls, analyze vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents, ensuring Intellivo’s systems and data remain secure and resilient against evolving cyber threats.
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst collaborates with Information Technology, Legal/Compliance, and other business units to maintain a strong security posture, assist with audits, and provide technical expertise for risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities Security Operations & Threat Monitoring
Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence to identify potential risks
Investigate suspicious activities and elevate incidents as needed
Maintain and optimize firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security tools
Vulnerability Management & Risk Assessment
Perform or assist with vulnerability scans and penetration testing as directed
Document findings and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate risks
Track and report progress on vulnerability reduction initiatives
Incident Response & Recovery
Support incident response activities, including triage, containment, and remediation
Assist in post‑incident reviews and incorporate lessons learned into security processes
Maintain readiness by conducting or assisting with disaster recovery and business continuity exercises
Compliance & Audit Support
Assist with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA/HITRUST, and other regulatory compliance efforts
Prepare documentation for audits and client security assessments
Ensure adherence to Intellivo’s security policies and standards
Security Architecture & Implementation
Provide input on secure configurations for systems, networks, and applications
Support deployment of security tools and technologies aligned with best practices
Participate in projects to ensure security requirements and compliance standards are met
Data Protection & Privacy
Monitor data handling practices for compliance with privacy regulations
Support encryption, access control, and secure data lifecycle management
Security Awareness & Training
Assist in delivering security awareness programs and training sessions
Promote best practices across teams to reduce human‑factor risks
Vendor & Third‑Party Risk Management
Review security posture of vendors and partners
Ensure third‑party solutions meet Intellivo’s security requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and threat mitigation techniques
Hands‑on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning tools, and endpoint security
Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA compliance requirements
Understanding of incident response, risk management, and secure system configurations
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSP, CISM, CEH, and/or Security+ are preferred
