Position Overview The Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling parts and services offered by NMC. The representative will cultivate new customer relationships and strengthen existing ones to expand the customer base and increase sales volume. Success in this position requires a strategic approach to identifying opportunities, delivering value, and building long‑term partnerships that contribute to profitable growth.

Primary Job Duties*
Maintain direct sales responsibility for assigned accounts by conducting sales calls, building relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Prospect new customers through lead generation and cold calling to grow sales of parts, services, and equipment.
Negotiate and close equipment sales, rentals, and service agreements to align with customer requirements and NMC’s profit goals.
Prepare and present quotes by identifying parts, collaborating with internal departments, and sourcing externally when needed.
Educate customers with detailed information including ROI reports, cost comparisons, financing options, equipment specs, and warranties.
Inspect customer equipment to identify service and repair needs.
Log all customer interactions and sales activities in NMC’s CRM system to support relationship management and strategic planning.
Stay current on product technologies, service capabilities, and marketing programs; attend trade shows and industry events.
Provide post‑sale support by addressing technical questions, coordinating service, and communicating updates on new equipment models.
Monitor unpaid invoices, facilitate collections, and resolve customer disputes professionally and promptly.
Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and communicate solutions effectively to customers.
Demonstrate and train customers on equipment operation as needed.
Submit monthly expense and mileage reports.
Deliver parts as scheduled when directed, ensuring secure transport and proper handling.
