Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis: Assisting in the organization, preparation, and delivery of annual formal installation Participating in the training and education of personnel at all levels on regulation requirements, environmental protection matters, sustainability efforts, and environmental program goals and objectives Supporting the development of budget requests and generating supporting documentation and justification for program resource requirements OR have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. NOTE: Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level.
