is currently looking for an

Junior Trader-Capital Markets Analyst

in the Secondary Marketing Department. The right candidate will be responsible for all functions surrounding, hedging, trading, and rate sheet margins for the FHA/VA/USDA pipeline

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Frequently update and monitor the hedged pipeline to ensure interest rate risk is managed effectively for incoming locks, closed loans and loan sales – execute TBA hedge trades via tradeweb or other applications

Maintain and audit the daily rate sheet to ensure govt hedged pricing accurately reflects secondary marketing executions

Frequently audit and document internal price models and Compass Analytics to ensure hedging model and investor pricing accuracy

Continuously improve the operations through procedural, system and policy enhancement while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies

Use internal price models to complete loan sale transactions

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure loans are ready to be sold and delivered timely

Monitor loan sales and research discrepancies to ensure DHIM is paid accurately

Acquire and maintain knowledge of loan products offered by DHI Mortgage

Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements

Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Qualifications Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance from a four-year college or university

One to two years related experience

Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Efficient and advanced skills in Excel

Proficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of mortgage process and terminology
