Aquatic Maintenance Trade Specialist

* Performs skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aquatic systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, chemical controllers, and plumbing.* Conducts regular inspections of pools, spas, splash pads, and water features to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.* Monitors and adjusts chemical levels, ensuring adherence to health department regulations and industry standards.* Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, water chemistry, repairs, and inspections.* Assists with capital projects, renovations, and installation of new aquatic systems or equipment.* Responds to emergencies related to aquatic mechanical or chemical systems.* Provides technical guidance and support to aquatic operations staff on the use and care of equipment.* Ensures compliance with occupational safety guidelines and proper use of personal protective equipment.* Stays current with industry standards, codes, and best practices in aquatic facility maintenance and operations.* Performs all duties and tasks as assigned.**Benefits:** The City of Tucson offers a generous benefits package for benefit-eligible positions.
