Performs routine and complex tasks at a full performance level.
Incumbents in this classification are capable of leading others in day-to-day landscape maintenance activities.**Grade:****Landscape Maintenance Specialist II –** 719**Landscape Maintenance Specialist I -** 718**Starting Pay:****719** - $21.72 - $24.95**718** - $20.22 - $23.27**Schedule:**Monday – Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.**Job Qualifications – Landscape Maintenance Specialist II:**1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Four (4) years of work experience maintaining grounds and sprinkler systems.3. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.**Job Qualifications- Landscape Maintenance Specialist I:**1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Two (2) years of work experience in facility maintenance and repair.3. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.**Additional Eligibility Qualifications:**1. Selected applicants must obtain the following during the probation or trial period and maintain the following certifications throughout employment:a. Forklift Operator certificationb. State of Utah Pesticide certificationc. Complete a defensive driving classd. The Recorder also maintains up-to-date maps which show current ownership of every section of land.## **Sheriff**The County Sheriff is the law enforcement officer in the county and is responsible for the preservation of the peace. The Sheriff and deputies make arrests and prepare legal papers for Sheriff's sale. The Sheriff also oversees the County Jail.## **Surveyor**The County Surveyor Office identifies and protects the section corner monuments that define record title (real property) interests. The Surveyor Office acts as a depository for all records of survey and is responsible for performing survey work for Utah County.## **Health**The Utah County Health Department seeks to prevent avoidable disease and injury, and promote health by monitoring the health of the community, and assuring conditions in which people can be healthy.## **Information Systems**The Information Systems department provides technology support to all Utah County government agencies.
