Application Analyst I-Epic Report Writer
Summary: Works in a leadership role under their assigned manager to support information systems for Baptist Health. Has expertise in design/tailoring, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, upgrading and monitoring of information systems and related software and serves as a resource to team members in these activities. Works independently on projects that range from simple to complex and can lead a team. Assists the team manager, and other project leaders, with project management activities and may serve as the lead role in projects delegated by the team manager. Upon request, provides input into team member’s evaluations, department budget preparations and strategic planning. Works with new team members to provide training and direction as needed. Communicates effectively with the user community and vendors as needed to ensure successful and expedient installation and problem resolution. Provide on-call support for a production system on a scheduled basis. Other information: Requires strong communication skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail. Advanced computer/software skills. Can work independently on assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple priorities and lead/facilitate groups. Demonstrates the ability to lead others in projects. Prefer a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, but will accept 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Five or more years of experience in an IT healthcare related role with 2 years of demonstrated project management skills. Epic certification may be required, depending on the position. If not pre-certified, or additional Epic module certifications required, certification required within 6 months post hire/promotion date. All certifications required for this position must be current as a condition of continued employment. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly. Connect With Us
