We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Outside Sales Representative to join the inground swimming pool team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire sales process—from initial consultation and design conception through installation and project completion. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to align customer needs, lifestyle goals, and budgets with the right pool solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main customer contact throughout all stages of the sales and installation process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish
Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs, preferences, property conditions, and budget considerations
Recommend and create appropriate pool designs, features, equipment, and upgrades based on customer goals and budget
Prepare, present, and explain detailed project estimates, proposals, and contracts
Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines, installation methods, materials, and current industry trends
Collaborate with internal teams (design, construction, service, and scheduling) to ensure accurate project execution and customer satisfaction
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through leads, referrals, networking, and self-generated prospecting
Follow up with prospects and customers in a timely, professional manner
Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and customer interactions in CRM or sales management tools
Represent the company professionally at customer sites, events, and industry-related activities
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous outside sales experience required; experience in pools, construction, home improvement, or related industries preferred
Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Ability to understand technical product information and explain it clearly to customers
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
Comfortable working independently in the field
Valid driver’s license
Basic computer skills; experience with CRM software a plus
