This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams are responsible for strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. AWS is seeking a Senior Worldwide Specialty Seller to drive our Connect partner go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy for Amazon Connect solutions across Public Sector organizations.

Amazon Connect services work backward from the needs of customers to provide a broad array of AI‑powered customer experience services that deliver personalized service across all channels (voice, email, chat, IVR) utilizing flexible access to data and applications to deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences. Amazon Connect is an AI CCaaS (Omni‑Channel, IVR, Analytics, Cases, Tasks, Customer Data Profiles, and more). As a Senior Worldwide Specialty Seller, you will strategically build mind‑share and adoption of Amazon Connect practices across our existing and new partners in the Public Sector market.

Key job responsibilities

Drive customer‑obsessed partner business strategies in the Public Sector market.

Develop and implement AWS go‑to‑market strategies with Connect partners serving government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and non‑profits.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior partner stakeholders focused on Public Sector.

Accelerate customer adoption with partners by developing and executing comprehensive sales and business plans, leading well‑developed sales engagements and successful GTM activities.

Design and implement scalable programs and deliver insightful business reviews to unblock partner challenges and drive growth.

Create operational planning documents and serve as an Amazon Connect subject‑matter expert for the Public Sector market.

Ensure customer and partner satisfaction through strategic engagement and relationship management.

Expect moderate travel to government agencies, educational institutions, and other Public Sector organizations.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of sales or sales management in infrastructure or cloud technology experience

3+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience

Experience in a customer‑facing role in the contact center or call center technology industry

Demonstrated success in partner management or channel sales in the Public Sector market

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)

7+ years of public sector business, public sector policy, government relations, or related fields experience

Experience with government procurement and contracting process

Ability to engage with senior Public Sector executives, build strategic relationships, and help customers execute on large‑scale engagements

Deep CX background with knowledge of Contact Center, VDI, or Unified Communications business

Knowledge of FedRAMP, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance frameworks

Active security clearance is a plus

Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position varies by location:

USA, NY, New York – $157,100.00 – $212,600.00 USD annually

USA, VA, Arlington – $142,800.00 – $193,200.00 USD annually

USA, WA, Seattle – $142,800.00 – $193,200.00 USD annually

Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance and optional supplemental life plans, EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
