The Shipping & Packaging Associate plays a vital role in delivering Cotton Craft’s luxury baby gifting experience. This position is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders with exceptional attention to detail and care. Each order represents a meaningful gift for a growing family, and this role ensures every package is beautifully presented, correctly labeled, and shipped on time.
Key responsibilities include printing packing slips, shipping labels, and personalized gift notes; carefully packing baby gift boxes and bundles according to Cotton Craft’s packaging standards; and coordinating timely drop-offs at the post office or carrier location. The associate will also assist with light administrative and creative tasks such as formatting gift notes, organizing orders, and occasionally using Canva for simple layouts or labels.
This role requires someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with computers, printers, and shipping systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of presentation, and enjoys contributing to a small, growing, women-owned business.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to print and organize packing slips, shipping labels, and personalized gift notes accurately
Experience using a computer for basic tasks (email, order systems, file management)
Ability to use a printer and troubleshoot minor printing issues
Familiarity with shipping workflows (label printing, package preparation, carrier drop-off)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packaging and branding guidelines
Ability to lift and carry packages (typically light to moderate weight)
Strong time management skills and ability to meet shipping deadlines
Reliable transportation for post office or carrier drop-offs
Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
