Six-month fixed term contract
£40,000 per annum FTE
Full time, 35 hours per week
Fully remote
Start, end of January/ early February
Charity People are looking for a Social Media Innovator to join an award winning team and help take the charity's social media presence to new heights. Use social listening and audience research to develop innovative ideas for campaigns and resources
Support wider social media projects including YouTube development, community management and new channel testing
Produce clear, warm and accessible copy that reflects their kind communication tone
Report on campaign performance and recommend improvements for future activity
Provide social media advice across the organisation to support projects and cross team work
You will bring:
Experience planning and delivering creative social media content and campaigns
Strong copywriting skills with a good eye for visual design and brand consistency
An understanding of how charities use social media to build engagement, influence, and support fundraising
Basic experience using video editing tools or platforms such as Canva/Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience using social media scheduling and management tools
Strong digital skills and an understanding of agile values and principles
A strategic yet practical approach, with innovative thinking and the ability to communicate with warmth and clarity
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, creative, and passionate about the power of social media to inform, engage and inspire. If you enjoy working collaboratively, have a flair for timely content and want to make a real difference, Charity People would love to hear from you.
Please apply with CV only. The role closes on 21st January. With interviews likely to take place the following week.
