Position Overview CUMULUS MEDIA | FLORENCE, SC is expanding its sales force in Florence and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for a digitally savvy, results‑driven Local & Digital Marketing Account Executive to join our team. This role blends traditional media with cutting‑edge digital solutions, offering a dynamic opportunity to work across four influential radio stations and a full suite of digital marketing platforms. The Local & Digital Marketing Account Executive successfully manages relationships with dozens of local and regional businesses, protects and grows the revenue base, identifies and creates new business opportunities with existing and new clients; provides marketing solutions to help customers achieve their business goals; strategically plans and implements initiatives to meet personal, company and corporate directives, recognizing that achieving budgeted revenue targets is the minimum expectation of performance. The right individual will invest in personal professional development, understanding technology, marketing and the full suite of company products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow client relationships by understanding their business goals and crafting integrated marketing solutions using both broadcast and digital assets.
Prospect and close new business through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the power of Cumulus’s multi‑platform offerings.
Represent a full suite of marketing tools, including radio, streaming, social media, digital display, email marketing, and events.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.
Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously expand your product knowledge in both traditional and digital media.
Qualifications
1‑3 years in Media Sales background preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field is preferred
Proven ability to exceed sales goals and manage a full pipeline of prospects.
Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions and online presence strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for helping clients succeed.
