The Sales Consultant promotes the Company’s products and services by building relationships with new and existing customers. The outside sales representative utilizes consultative selling techniques to maintain and grow sales of amenities, textiles, room accessories, janitorial supplies, cleaning supplies, FF&E and MRO products to hotels, management groups and additional markets within an assigned territory. The main focus is to help the Company’s customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals. Sales Consultants receive a base salary with an opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses based on KPI achievement. Primary Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within prospective and existing accounts. Make sales calls and presentations to develop and maintain solid customer relationships to increase sales and category penetration. Utilize consultative selling techniques, product knowledge, ROI, system tools (Phocas, GForce, Salesforce.com) and sales training resources to target new prospects and market growth opportunities. Continuously manage assigned accounts and take corrective action to maintain and improve the overall customer experience. Consult with assigned accounts on new products, services, company changes, holiday schedules, pricing changes and new opportunities. Notify management immediately if an existing account is jeopardized or issues remain unresolved. Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure customers pay invoices within agreed terms. Interact with various internal departments to provide vital information necessary for servicing the customer. Assist in set‑up of new accounts, including Customer Account Application, order guides, pricing, order schedules and files, coordinating with other departments as appropriate. Accurately forecast sales results and trends for a specific territory and group of accounts. Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred. Minimum Experience

3‑5 years sales experience with proven record of sales success. Experience in hospitality or supply/distribution sales preferred. Experience managing new and existing customer opportunities and up‑selling preferred. Experience with trip planning, territory routing and account prioritization preferred. Skills & Abilities

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires regular sitting, standing, walking and operating a computer, mouse and telephone; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Frequent travel to attend appointments, training sessions, staff meetings, company events and trade shows. Personal vehicle may be required for business travel; must maintain a valid driver license and proof of automobile insurance coverage. Remote work requires reliable internet connection, required software and a dedicated workspace free of distractions.
