Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and versatile Package Designer to join our team for a 3‑month contract position with potential for extension. As a Package Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing visually appealing and marketable products, including product design, photo shoots (both in‑house and with vendors), and collaboration with licensing companies such as Hello Kitty, Kakao, Line Friends, BT21, Disney, and more.
Location:
100 % remote – can work from anywhere – hours are 8 am‑5 pm PST. Equipment:
Not provided; licenses for programs will be provided. Portfolio:
Must provide a link to view a portfolio of work. Contract:
3 months, with possible month‑to‑month extension; no conversion opportunity at this time. Interview:
1 phone screening with Robert (HR Manager) and 1 phone screening with the Creative Director.

Responsibilities
Creating graphics for displays.
Creating seasonal collections and themes.
Creating intricate package and product designs.
Designing on preliminary deadlines for packaging.
Ensuring revisions are done completely and accurately while consistently meeting deadlines.
Brainstorming concepts, mockup design ideas, and presenting.
Researching creative ideas as needed and staying in tune with the competitive market landscape.
Researching and proposing new typography ideas.
Creating layouts for print (tear sheets, catalog, banners, posters, marketing media), web, and all social media.
Touching up digital imagery of product shots and other marketing media.
Creating files correctly for press (bleeds, PDF proofing, color separations – spot and 4‑color process).
Creating mockups and samples for clients and meetings.
Requirements
Advanced Adobe CS6 (or higher) – Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
BFA, BA, or relevant degree/experience in Art, Design, and/or Packaging.
Strong interest and knowledge in Beauty / Skincare / Cosmetics.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
Strong work ethics to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
A creative design aesthetic that complements the current styles of the company.
Great attention to detail; excellent writing, communication, and spelling skills are a plus.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure.
Accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively, and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.
Takes direction and critique well from management, senior designers, and clients.
Positive energy working well in a team environment.
Ability to present a professional portfolio.
Knowledge of typography.
Self‑motivated and creative individual who can execute projects without requiring frequent direction.
