is seeking a Sales Manager, Transformers to play a key role in growing a specialized, global technology leader while advancing professional development in North America. The Sales Manager will help shape Elpress’ long-term growth in a strategically important market.
Elpress is a Swedish-owned company with over 65 years of experience in developing, manufacturing and marketing complete crimping systems for electrical connectors. Elpress Inc. serves the North American market with advanced products, deep application expertise and local support from its office in Lombard, IL.
As part of its continued growth, Elpress is seeking a driven and commercially strong Sales Manager for the transformer market in North America. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth within the transformer manufacturing segment, with a primary focus on Power Transformer OEMs and a secondary focus on large Distribution Transformer manufacturers.
This position combines key account management, new business development and value-based technical selling. The Sales Manager will leverage Elpress’ strong product portfolio and global expertise to deliver optimized connection solutions to leading transformer manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow key OEM transformer accounts
Identify and develop new customer opportunities
Build long-term customer relationships at all levels
Lead value-based and solution-oriented customer discussionsDevelop and execute structured account plans, monitor market trends and provide clear commercial reporting to global stakeholders
Translate customer needs into optimized Elpress solutions
Provide onsite technical product presentations and training
Qualifications
Proven sales experience with major OEM accounts in power transformers, distribution transformers or the high-voltage/power industry
Strong track record of new account acquisition and growth
A combination of technical and commercial sales experience
Experience working in entrepreneurial and international environments
Consultative, value-based sales approach with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Structured, self-driven and results-oriented mindset
Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage
