Position Summary
The Associate Sales Manager supports the sales team by assisting with daily sales activities, customer interactions, and administrative functions. This role is designed for a high-potential sales professional looking to develop leadership skills while continuing to build a strong foundation in sales execution and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist sales representatives with lead follow-up, quotes, and order processing
Manage a small portfolio of accounts or inbound leads
Support achievement of team sales goals through proactive outreach and follow-up
Participate in customer calls, meetings, and presentations alongside senior sales staff
Help reinforce sales processes, tools, and CRM data accuracy
Serve as a point of contact for basic sales questions and coordination
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM system
Assist with tracking sales activity, pipeline updates, and basic forecasting
Prepare simple reports and summaries for sales leadership
Help resolve routine customer issues and escalates as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
0-2 years of sales, customer service, or business experience
Strong interest in sales leadership and career growth
Basic proficiency with CRM systems or willingness to learn
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
