The Inside Sales Consultant and Advisor role, sells solar energy products or services to consumers. These roles focus on the sales path from start to finish. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. They will drive their solar project from point of sale to installation, using Sunrun's core values to drive meaningful impact with our customers.
Responsibilities/The Impact
Use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages in our products and services
Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
Follow‑up with receptive transfer leads to further sales
Understand and be able to demonstrate the product or service to the customer through screen shares
Guide customers, electronically, through the enrollment process
Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve monthly sales targets
Run and track customer account progress in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Qualifications/How You Will Be Successful
The ability to communicate fluently in English is an essential function of this role. Fluency in another language besides English is a plus.
Basic digital literacy, bonus points for experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM
Previous sales experience is encouraged
Demonstrated passion for relationship building, customer service and continuous self‑improvement
Excel in a remote team setting, working effectively in an ever‑evolving environment
