REMOTE - SBA Business Development Officer Senior

Responsibilities
Marketing a full range of banking services to SBA loan eligible businesses, with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis.
Facilitating SBA loan origination, handling client contact, origination and analysis, with typical loan amounts ranging from $350K to $5MM.
Reviewing financial statements and supporting documents, structuring SBA loan proposals, completing initial analysis, and preparing credit package.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines and organization policies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of at least 4 years SBA lending experience.
Minimum of 5 years of Business/Commercial lending experience.
Preferred Qualifications
SBA loan originating experience.
Familiarity with Commercial loan underwriting systems.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
PC and internet proficiency.
Exempt Status:
Yes – not eligible for overtime pay.
Workplace Type:
Remote – Certain positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. We’re combining the best of both worlds: in‑office and work from home. Remote roles will also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
Compensation Range:
$70,000.00 – $140,000.00 Annual Salary. The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including location, experience, and performance. Colleagues are also eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. Huntington provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
