PSI (Proteam Solutions)
We are seeking a highly skilled and creatively driven Motion Designer to join a newly formed Brand Transformation Team supporting a major personal care industry leader. This role is central to bringing an all-new brand vision to life across digital touchpoints, including site, app, and social platforms.
The Motion Designer will partner closely with the AVP of Digital Creative, Video Team, and Brand Transformation Team to deliver elevated, on-brand motion design that enhances storytelling and drives engagement. This is not a maintenance role; it is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for a designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is energized by building and evolving brands at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the AVP of Digital Creative, Video Team, and Brand Transformation Team to support a major brand overhaul initiative.
Design and produce sophisticated motion assets for web, mobile app, and social channels.
Translate brand strategy and creative direction into compelling motion narratives that feel cohesive, modern, and culturally relevant.
Apply a high level of craft, precision, and editorial sensibility to all deliverables.
Flex between motion and still design as needed to support broader creative initiatives.
Stay current on motion design, retail, and digital content trends to ensure work remains fresh and competitive.
Contribute creatively and proactively in an evolving environment where workflows and priorities may continue to take shape.
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of professional experience in motion design, preferably within retail, personal care, CPG, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or agency environments.
Advanced expertise in After Effects, with a strong understanding of best practices for web and social motion design.
Strong graphic design foundation, with the ability to confidently produce both still and motion assets.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop; working knowledge of Figma preferred.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, execute, and refine high-quality creative work independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail and a refined aesthetic sensibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting digital brand transformations or large-scale rebrands.
Background working with world-class retailers or premium consumer brands in beauty, fashion, or luxury spaces.
A portfolio showcasing fresh, innovative motion and digital brand work.
Technical Skills: Advanced motion design and animation (After Effects)
Strong graphic design across digital formats
Web and social-first design best practices
This role sits within a Brand Transformation Team formed to execute a new brand vision across digital platforms. The team will manage multiple projects throughout the year, primarily focused on elevating site and app experiences in alignment with a newly developed brand guide. Additional projects are anticipated as the transformation continues.
What Sets Successful Candidates Apart
Experience delivering digital motion design for premium or culturally influential brands.
A portfolio that demonstrates strong taste, innovation, and storytelling.
A proactive, “make it better” mindset paired with creative agility and resilience.
Remote for out-of-state candidates
Hybrid for Columbus-based candidates, with occasional in-person meetings as needed
