Hunt Valve has an opportunity for a Sales Manager based in our Salem, OH facility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing the sales strategy for Hunt Valve. We are a leading provider of high‑quality Navy and industrial valves, actuators, and fittings catering primarily to the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. In this role you will increase customer focus, responsiveness and expand sales through direct and indirect channels. The Sales Manager will create and execute innovative strategies to profitably grow the Hunt Valve business. The ideal candidate will be system and process focused while possessing exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with our customers and across all functional areas within the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback as well as clarity on job responsibilities to team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key Navy accounts and Industrial clients.
Research market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
Implement a robust sales system with strong processes, standard work, data analytics and KPIs.
Lead costing and pricing efforts.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
6‑10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, or product management.
A strong understanding of the market, products, service offerings and customer base or the ability to quickly learn.
Experience in development, implementation and execution of a sales strategy and system.
Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and sales representatives.
Very Proficient in Microsoft Office Products—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills—active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills.
Note This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data.
