What we're looking for This role provides an opportunity to lead key activities, grow professionally and make an impact. Responsibilities include:

Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.

Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify appropriate resources (e.g., Payer Relations Managers, HUB, headquarters approved materials) to refer customers for reimbursement and distribution choices, working within GSK guidelines and values.

Maintain knowledge and data, constantly changing, regarding severe asthma therapeutic expertise.

Provide product educational programs/in‑services to customers.

Work within compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.

Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.

Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account (e.g., Allergists, Pulmonologists, nurses, PAs, business/office managers).

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers (Market Access), Medical (MSLs) and other functions within GSK.

Effectively manage allocated resources (e.g., financial).

Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customers' requests, inquiries and needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Ability to travel domestically as necessary; overnight travel up to 30% in some territories.

Valid driver's license and willingness to drive; driving is an essential function of this role.

Selected candidate hired at appropriate level based on experience:

Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience.

Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Specialty Products using Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy distribution modes.

Expertise working with Payer Reimbursement Managers.

Biologic/Rare Disease/Respiratory Sales experience.

Experience selling in IDN Systems.

Benefits US annual base salary ranges from $147,750 to $246,250. The role offers an annual bonus, eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
