Counter Sales Associate
to support our branch in
Hayward, CA .

Responsibilities:
Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during the sales process; upsell complementary products.
Correctly enter the customer order in the computer system.
Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements; market all products sold and suggest replacement/alternative products when appropriate.
Maintain a working knowledge of the entire sales process from start to finish (including the order, billing, delivery and payment processes).
Assist in maintaining the counter, merchandising and product display area ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment; assemble and stock product displays and shelves and prepare customer refreshments.
Assist in warehouse duties such as stocking, labeling shelves, restocking showroom, inventory of goods, cycle counting, etc. in a manner which assures an orderly and safe work environment.
Assist with the shipping and receiving processes as needed including training on the UPS shipment process.
Occasionally operate a forklift to assist in warehouse duties.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in the electrical industry and/or familiarity with electrical equipment and power tools is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
Ability to work a
Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. -2:30 p.m. schedule .
Overtime may be required as needed.
