Electrical Superintendent
Responsibilities
Supervise daily electrical field operations and manage electrical crews
Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
Plan and execute electrical installation activities in accordance with project schedules
Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
Ensure compliance with NEC, local electrical codes, and project requirements
Enforce safety policies and conduct job-site safety meetings
Monitor productivity, manpower, materials, and equipment usage
Identify and resolve field issues, clashes, and design discrepancies
Coordinate inspections with authorities, consultants, and clients
Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress documentation
Support project closeout, testing, and commissioning activities
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent
Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
Proven leadership and crew management skills
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA or equivalent safety certification
Experience with BIM coordination and construction scheduling
Familiarity with project management software
