EquipNet helps the largest manufacturers in the world to buy, sell, and manage their surplus capital equipment. The Account Executive-Biotech will work as part of a team, engaged in helping companies buy and sell pre‑owned laboratory and life sciences equipment.
We are seeking a results‑driven business development professional with a strong “hunter” mindset and proven capital equipment sales experience within the Biotech and Life Sciences industry. This individual will thrive in outbound prospecting, building relationships by phone, and converting company‑generated leads into qualified opportunities and closed revenue.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
Engage in warm calling to establish relationships with prospective clients.
Utilize CRM for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitive landscape.
Provide leadership within the sales team by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales within Biotech and Life Sciences industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and client needs.
Proficiency in using CRM software for managing sales processes.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $75,000-$125,000/annually dependent on experience
Variable compensation plan based on company, team, and individual success against goals
