Sales Manager
As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth while supporting the day-to-day execution of group bookings, meetings, and promotional initiatives. This position blends strategic sales responsibility with hands‑on coordination and administrative support, serving as a vital link between clients and hotel operations.
Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
Nurture, manage, and expand client relationships to drive new and repeat business.
Assist with contract negotiation and ensure all agreements align with hotel policies.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
Group, Meeting & Event Coordination
Coordinate and execute group bookings, meetings, and events in collaboration with hotel departments to ensure client satisfaction.
Assist with site tours, client communication, and pre‑arrival planning.
Prepare group resumes, event orders, and supporting documentation.
Sales Support & Administration
Assist in creating proposals, contracts, presentations, and promotional materials.
Maintain accurate client files, databases, and CRM records.
Process contracts, billing, shipping, supply orders, and reporting as needed.
Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Client Liaison & Communication
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing timely information.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of information and execution.
CRM & Systems Management
Utilize CRM systems such as Delphi FDC to manage client data, track interactions, and maintain accurate records.
Leverage hotel systems and reporting tools to support sales initiatives.
Marketing & Promotional Support
Collaborate with management on promotional activities, special packages, and sales campaigns.
Support marketing events, activations, partnerships, and local networking events as needed.
Assist with managing hotel social media content and maintaining up‑to‑date imagery and listings across online platforms.
Market Awareness
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to support strategic decision‑making.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1–2 years in a hotel sales, marketing, or coordination role. Hospitality brand experience preferred (Hilton, Marriott, or IHG).
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate, and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with hotel and sales systems such as Delphi FDC, OnQ R& I, and PEP.
Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to use creative and appropriate resources to resolve issues professionally.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
