Position Summary
The Income Tax Senior Analyst will support the company’s global income tax function, with a primary focus on US federal and state income tax compliance, provision, and tax planning. This role is ideal for a candidate with prior public accounting experience who is looking to apply strong technical skills in a dynamic corporate environment. Key Responsibilities
Income Tax Compliance
Prepare and review US federal, state, and local income tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments Coordinate with external advisors on compliance matters and filings Analyze book-to-tax differences and maintain supporting workpapers Income Tax Provision (ASC 740)
Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740 Calculate current and deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions Assist with tax disclosures for financial statements Tax Planning & Support
Support tax planning initiatives, including entity structuring, intercompany transactions, and M&A activities Assist with transfer pricing coordination and intercompany documentation Research and analyze technical tax issues; draft memos and recommendations Audit & Controversy
Support income tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities Prepare audit‑ready documentation and respond to information requests Assist with managing tax authority correspondence and notices Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and documentation Assist with automation and enhancement of tax compliance and provision workflows Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of income tax experience, including public accounting firm experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred) Strong knowledge of US federal income tax; state and international exposure a plus Experience with ASC 740 income tax provision Proficiency in Excel and tax compliance software Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred
CPA or CPA‑eligible Experience in a multinational or complex corporate environment Exposure to transfer pricing, tax planning, or international tax concepts Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
