The Commercial Lending Manager is responsible for preparing and executing funding of loan packages and documentation for commercial clients in accordance with established guidelines and policies. This role involves coordinating with the legal department, setting interest rates, and ensuring timely funding of loans. The Commercial Lending Manager also maintains documented approvals files for the commercial loan portfolio and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate special documents to cover unusual loan terms with legal department Assist Loan Officers in the preparation of credit proposal packages Interface with clients to obtain documentation, facilitate loan payments Examine loan terms, set interest rates, and ensure loan funding within established time frames Maintain documented approvals files for commercial loan portfolio Ensure compliance with all Bank lending policies and guidelines as well as all relevant state and federal regulations and standards Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as needed Skills and Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field At least 5 years of related experience and/or training in commercial lending Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy Experience with LaserPro software preferred Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
