Overview A global pharmaceutical/biotech organization is seeking a Data Strategy Leader to step in during a leave of absence. This role serves as the strategic bridge between IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Data teams, focusing on data architecture and enterprise dataset management-not hands-on coding.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional alignment across IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Data.
Oversee SAP datasets and guide data strategy/architecture.
Support onboarding of new data sources and APIs.
Partner with junior engineers who handle execution.
Provide clarity in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Required Experience
Senior Manager-level background in data strategy or data architecture.
Strong business and technical fluency; able to work with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with SAP, AWS, Power BI, and Fabric.
Understanding of API/data onboarding processes.
Pharma/biotech experience strongly preferred.
Must work EST hours; onsite required only if based in Indianapolis.
