Merchandiser Responsibilities Ensure the right products are available in the right quantity at the right time. Work with suppliers to get quality products on time and at the best price. Track sales performance and make adjustments to stock or promotions as needed. Create attractive product displays to boost customer interest and sales. Study customer preferences and competitor activities to improve product offerings. Plan sales promotions to increase revenue. Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations. Requirements for a Merchandiser Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. (No experience required) High school diploma with proven experience in the same role (preferably clothing retail) Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or sales is beneficial. Good communication and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze data and spot trends. Creativity for visual merchandising. Familiarity with inventory management software and tools. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks. Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
