Our client, a leader in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry, is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join the Product Research and Design team. This is a full-time contract role (6+ months, 40 hours/week) requiring 4 days onsite in Sandy Springs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly familiarize yourself with competitive analysis of self-service ordering kiosks in the US QSR market and current kiosk capabilities within a family of restaurant brands.
- Map the in-store guest ordering experience, and understand differences between off-prem mobile ordering and on-prem kiosk ordering in the customer journey.
- Evaluate usability and design quality of current kiosk ordering experiences; collaborate with product management and other designers to recommend enhancements, features, and changes.
- Design the future kiosk-based customer experience, including mockups and/or prototypes of key ordering flows, reward redemption, payment flows, and more.
- Comply with, extend, or create elements for a design system for in-store (large screen) and online/mobile ordering products (small screens).
Required Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years of UX design experience on mobile-based products or self-service ordering kiosks (kiosk experience a plus; mobile required).
- E-commerce experience is helpful.
- MUST have experience using Figma, with a portfolio of digital product design.
- Experience working with or expanding design systems.
- Strong skills in user research, customer journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing for in-store/touchscreen kiosk products.
- Background in QSR, restaurant, or hospitality platforms.
- Understanding accessibility needs for public-facing devices.
