
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Coordinator for the ICF residential program.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and evaluate residential managers, regional staff, and non‑nursing clinical/consultant team members.
Direct and coordinate daily residential management systems and individualized program planning.
Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, including OPWDD requirements.
Oversee interdisciplinary team processes and ensure programmatic needs are met.
Coordinate services under the Home and Community‑Based Services (HCBS) Waiver.
Ensure staff receive training in SCIP, behavior management, documentation systems, and individualized habilitation plans.
Provide management coverage during staff vacancies or absences.
Conduct investigations related to staff or program participant matters.
Interpret organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations for assigned staff.
Assist in the development of new residential facilities, including administrative systems and physical plant setup.
Motivate and support staff to achieve program goals.
Perform duties of supervised staff as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Special Education or a related healthcare field.
Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in a residential group home setting.
Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
Qualified to perform QIDP job duties.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to make independent decisions and manage stressful situations.
Valid New York State or Tri‑State driver's license in good standing (minimum one year).
