MidPoint Church is seeking a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Pastor to lead a dynamic and growing youth and young adult ministry. This leader will help students and career aged individuals know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference. The ideal candidate will be passionate about discipling young people, equipping volunteers, and reaching the next generation both inside and outside the church walls.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and lead weekly youth services, including teaching, worship, games, and small groups
Organize events such as camps, retreats and community outreach
Build relationships with students and parents, offering spiritual guidance and pastoral care
Recruit, train, and support a team of adult and student volunteers
Develop and implement age-appropriate discipleship programs and curriculum
Partner with schools and community organizations to connect with local youth
Promote youth ministry events through social media and other communication channels
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by following child protection and safety protocols
Work collaboratively with the church staff and leadership team
Maintain ministry calendar, budget, and administrative responsibilities
Qualifications
A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects spiritual maturity
Agreement with MidPoint Church’s beliefs, mission, and vision
Experience leading or serving in youth ministry (volunteer or staff); pastoral experience preferred
Strong communicator with the ability to teach biblical truth in a way that connects with students
Passionate about reaching and discipling middle and high school students
Able to lead, encourage, and develop volunteer teams
Organized and self-motivated with good time management skills
Comfortable using technology, social media, and creative tools for ministry
Additional Information
This role can be part-time or full-time based on candidate availability
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for services and events
Must pass a background check and complete child safety training
