Assistant Account Administrator – part‑time (approx. 20 hours/week), onsite at the Pittsburg office.

What you’ll do
Confidently respond to walk‑in customers, colleagues, clients, and brokers in person, by email, phone, or written correspondence.
Provide accurate business analytics support to Sales Management.
Research and resolve billing, invoicing, group claims and benefit inquiries.
Prepare group information packets.
Prepare ad‑hoc Excel reports and analysis via various systems.
Cover and perform duties for staff as needed during high workload periods.
Open and close the office each business day and perform light maintenance and cleaning.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Must sign a non‑compete agreement.
Travel may be required.
Must be able to lift, bend, and load supplies and office equipment up to 50 pounds.
Phone usage up to 20% of the day and keyboard use up to 80% of the day.
Must comply with corporate compliance program, confidentiality, attendance policy, and information security policies.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: State of Kansas Insurance Agent license within 90 days and maintained; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; strong Excel data analytics; excellent organizational & time‑management; high attention to detail; strong communication; team player; customer focus; ability to read/understand instructions; self‑direction; technology savvy; valid driver’s license.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: One year sales coordination, office administration, or business operations; preference for health insurance or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas experience.
