We are currently seeking a Commercial Banking Specialist to join our team. As a Commercial Banking Specialist you will be responsible for administrative, technical and professional work within the core bank function. This position is responsible for business development support, customer service and administration.

Essential functions of the role:
Business Development Support
Assist with collection of financial information for business or loan package to meet required specifications
Review and monitor documents for accuracy, completeness and adherence to approval conditions
Monitor existing loans and/or accounts to ensure conformity with terms
Advance funds for payment or credit accounts at the request of commercial officer
Negotiate satisfactory resolution of basic-to-intermediate documentation, compliance, and legal issues with customers, bank associates, officers and vendors
Process payments, fees and/or payoffs
Negotiate document signing dates with customers and commercial bankers
Respond to inquiries or requests for information
Customer Service
Oversee management and service of designated accounts as defined by manager
Serve as liaison between the customer and commercial banker
Ensure data quality and integrity
Research, identify and resolve account questions, monetary and non-monetary delinquencies and other borrower or business related issues
Prepare payoff requests and obtain prepayment calculations pursuant to terms of loan documents
Interact with Emprise associates, customers, other banks and vendors relative to areas of concern involving commercial loan services
Escalate issues as needed
Administration
Coordinate the daily workflow for commercial officer
Draft necessary documents and agreements
Establish and maintain complete loan and business documents and customer records
Book new loans and administer loan modifications in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor loan‑servicing reports for accuracy
Analyze and interpret data regarding billing questions, rate changes and other critical loan or business information
Support special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of this role
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years previous banking experience required
1+ years of direct administrative experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
