My partner Sanjana and I are looking for someone experienced and confident to dogsit our 9-year-old Herman at our Albany Park apartment from Feb 23rd to March 7th. We're also looking for someone to walk him during the day on Jan. 27-30, as I'll be away those days and my partner comes home from his job in the evenings. Herman is an absolute angel of a velcro dog, but has been struggling with some fear-based reactivity. He's been doing increasingly well on his walks (we train him with kibble), and for the most part he spends his days napping, nibbling on his toys, and demanding belly rubs. He warms up much quicker to women than men. We're hoping that the sitter we trust to stay with Herman while we're out of the country can eventually be his go-to person in the long term.
