Our client located in Nashville, TN is actively looking for a Truss Design Manager with a background in wood truss design for floors and roofs. Required:

• 7 plus years of Wood Truss Design experience
• Proficient with Alpine Truss Design Software or comparable software
• Plus experience designing Wall panel or Timber Trusses
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings
• Excellent math skills
• Estimating and quoting experience from take offs
• Experience managing others / 2-3 remote employees and 2 in office employees and checking their work
• Ability/Experience creating and managing schedules - critical
• Ability to work closely with sales and plant to meet goals and stay on schedule
• Able to lead others, assign work, check work, ensure schedules and goals are met
• Budgets and Forecasting
• Review Contracts and purchase orders
