We’re looking for a full-time attorney in our Indianapolis office that meets the following criteria:
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on intellectual property-related matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, assignment, and non-disclosure agreements
- Conduct IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
- Manage and maintain clients\' IP portfolios
- Stay up-to-date with changes in IP law and industry trends and conduct legal research to support clients\' IP needs
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion with strong attention to detail
- Possess high moral character, a hard-working mindset, and practical knowledge
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal teams and clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience practicing intellectual property law; patent attorney preferred
- Maintain client relationships that produce at least $150k of work per year
