Head of Strategy and Operations, Google Marketing Platform

Location: United States (Playa Vista, CA campus or other locations). Eligible applicants can select a preferred working location from New York, São Paulo, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Mountain View, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Salary range (US): $227,000–$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. (Canada: CAD 232,000–238,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.)

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 8 years with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in sales, agency, or project management function.
  • Experience in cross‑functional collaboration to drive results, and the ability to influence stakeholders along with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DV360 and Google Marketing Platform.
  • Knowledge of commercial incentive programs.
  • Passion for building and leading teams.
About the role

This team is responsible for setting go‑to‑market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and launching the next generation of Ads products. As Head of Google Marketing Platforms and Commercials for Americas Large Customer Sales Product Go‑to‑Market, you will coach a team to develop the strategy and own execution of go‑to‑market plans that drive adoption and business growth across Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS). You will collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Product and Marketing to achieve goals and support your team’s growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify key questions and translate goals and strategy into defined projects.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Project Director and Principal Leads to select projects and staff team capacity to lead projects that improve operating structure and resource allocation or aim to improve cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects ensuring structure and timely delivery of project goals.
  • Establish key performance indicators and timelines for each project, provide regular metrics reporting tied to goals, and conduct post‑implementation impact analysis.
  • Develop best practices, templates, and tools specific to each domain for future initiatives.
