Job Description

This role is part of our growing advertising strategy research practice, focused on delivering best‑in‑class advertising that drives business results. You will work directly with the Vice President of strategy research, develop strategies that bring audience perspective to life, facilitate workshops with brand stakeholders, support quantitative research, and assist in sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with and report to the Vice President who leads our strategy research practice.
  • Mine client documents and the Ipsos knowledge base for relevant cultural, category, and audience information to build strategies.
  • Draft strategies that bring the audience’s perspective to life in a simple, focused way.
  • Attend qualitative research sessions as an active participant and help synthesize learnings afterward.
  • Facilitate or participate in workshops with key brand stakeholders to drive alignment around powerful, focused strategies.
  • Provide flexible support for the quantitative research process, from execution to analysis and steering the report narrative and key takeaways.
  • Interface with both internal client‑service teams and clients to support the sales process.
  • Maintain and analyze databases to support innovative thought leadership in the advertising strategy space.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising strategy, marketing, market research, or consumer insights.
  • Strategy experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • A client‑driven and solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with advertising strategy and comfort authoring core components of a brand’s strategy.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with brand stakeholders and driving consensus.
  • Strong experience with qualitative research (focus groups, in‑depth interviews, and analysis).
  • Some experience with quantitative research, including survey design, analysis, and delivery.
  • Comfort acting as the “voice of strategy” when speaking with clients and internal partners.
  • A willingness to challenge long‑held industry beliefs when data supports it.
  • Flexible in taking on varied roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.

Compensation

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary for this role is $105,000–$115,000. Final compensation will be determined based on non‑discriminatory factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications.
