Base pay range
$143,000.00/yr - $286,000.00/yr
Position Summary: The Staff Designer is a senior-level contributor responsible for leading design initiatives, setting creative direction, and delivering high-quality design solutions across multiple projects. This role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams, mentors junior designers, and ensures that all design work aligns with business goals and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to execution for complex projects
- Develop and communicate design strategies and vision
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers
- Advocate for user‑centered design principles and best practices
- Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of professional design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual, interaction, and/or product design
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience Leading Design Projects And Mentoring Others
Preferred qualifications include experience in retail, e‑commerce, or a related industry; familiarity with design systemsҗand accessibility standards.
