Our client is a leader in (situational awareness, emergency/crisis/critical event management, security operations, safety solutions, business continuity, incident management, risk & resilience to general disruption management solutions). They're seeking two Senior Sales Leaders with experience selling at least one of the solutions listed above. (Must have SaaS experience)
The role of Senior Sales Leader is focused on building market position for our client's products by creating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business within defined industry sectors. The Senior Sales Leader is expected to understand and demonstrate how our client's solutions solve customer problems within their solution and regions.
The Senior Sales Leader is expected to run his/her own planning process, conduct rigorous analysis of market sectors and compelling events, as well as champion possible marketing efforts to support the sale of Company solutions. The Senior Sales Leader should also contribute proactively to take lead on territory marketing ideas, sales engagement activity in order to support this plan. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales.
Job Duties - High Level View
Planning: Build and maintain annual sales plans, define underlying sales objectives and tasks to define marketing activities and materials needed to support the sales strategies.
Pipeline Management: Actively engage new leads through multiple engagements (calls, meetings, emails, demonstrations etc.) to understand their project requirements and to convert them to potentials.
Internal Collaboration: Represent the target customer within solution teams ensuring their needs and problems are addressed within the solution business strategy.
Events: Collaborate with Marketing before and after an event to determine pre and post-event communication needs.
Product Knowledge & Domain Expertise: Stay abreast of competitor research relevant to individual territories.
Process, Reporting & Measurement: Regularly update tasks in the CRM to support weekly activity reporting for the Business Development function.
Data Integrity: Ensure that deals information in the CRM is reviewed daily, weekly and adjusted where necessary.
Travel as needed.
Qualifications & Experiences
A minimum of 5 years experience selling disruption management solutions (listed above).
Well versed in solution selling.
Successful track record targeting and winning new business.
Success with managing major accounts and large contracts, particularly in achieving genuine sales development in the private sector or government institutions.
