Our independence keeps us nimble, thoughtful and resourceful, allowing us to invest in the best people in the business.**Responsibilities:*** Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectives* Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence* Oversee integrated projects across various sectors including paid media, creative, and others* Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels* Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content* Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedback* Help plan and coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs* Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation* Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals* Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct**Basic Qualifications:*** At least two years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including marketing, advertising, media and publishing* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience**Preferred Qualifications:*** Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously* Ability to develop communications plans, implement communications tactics and impart knowledge to more junior team members* Strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team playerEdelman is a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
