Results‑driven hospitality sales leader with extensive experience driving revenue growth for full‑service resorts through strategic sales execution, and relationship development. Proven expertise in group, leisure, and transient segmentation, with a strong focus on destination‑driven demand, experiential travel, and high‑touch service delivery.
Known for building and leading high‑performing sales teams, cultivating long‑term client and community partnerships, and aligning sales strategy with resort operations to maximize ADR, RevPAR, and total resort profitability. Adept at navigating competitive mountain and destination resort markets, leveraging seasonal demand, compression periods, and regional feeder markets to optimize pace and pipeline performance.
A collaborative and hands‑on leader with a deep understanding of resort operations, catering and events, and brand standards—committed to elevating the guest experience while delivering consistent financial results. Recognized for strategic thinking, market insight, and the ability to create disciplined sales processes that support sustainable growth and long‑term asset value.
Qualifications
Required & Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of progressive hospitality sales,
with demonstrated success in full‑service hotels or destination resorts; mountain, leisure, or lifestyle resort experience strongly preferred.
Proven leadership experience
managing and developing sales and catering teams, with a track record of building accountability, structure, and performance‑driven cultures.
Comprehensive knowledge of resort sales segments , including:
Group (corporate retreats, SMERF, weddings, social events)
Leisure and transient
Seasonal and compression‑driven demand
Catering, banquets, and destination events
Demonstrated success driving ADR, RevPAR, and total resort revenue , with the ability to analyze pace, pickup, and market trends to inform pricing and yield strategies.
Strong experience collaborating with Revenue Management , ensuring sales strategies align with rate integrity, demand forecasting, and seasonal yield opportunities.
Advanced understanding of destination marketing , including leveraging regional feeder markets, outdoor recreation demand, weddings, wellness, and experiential travel.
Hands‑on expertise with sales systems and reporting tools , including Salesforce, Delphi or similar CRM platforms, Demand360, STR reports, and sales productivity metrics.
Exceptional relationship‑building skills , with the ability to cultivate long‑term partnerships with:
Corporate and association planners
Wedding and social event clients
Local CVBs, Chambers, and tourism partners
Regional and national accounts
Strong marketing acumen , including collaboration on:
Content calendars and storytelling
Digital marketing and social media alignment
Promotional campaigns and seasonal packages
Brand consistency and experiential positioning
Financial and business acumen , with experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, developing action plans, and presenting performance to ownership or asset management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills , with the ability to lead meetings, conduct sales trainings, and represent the resort professionally to clients, partners, and ownership.
Highly organized, strategic, and execution‑focused , capable of balancing big‑picture vision with day‑to‑day sales leadership and operational collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree
in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
