Who You Are
We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to bring deep creative insight, technical know-how, and a player-first mindset to our team. You are passionate about crafting intuitive, elegant user experiences that delight and engage. You thrive in collaborative environments, take initiative, and are equally comfortable leading design discussions or jumping into engine tools to prototype solutions. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a drive to constantly improve both your own craft and the team’s workflow. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex UX problems, and ensuring the UI not only looks great but plays great.
Responsibilities
- Guide conversations with partners and own feature design against the product spec.
- Create UX wireframes and UI mock‑ups in an iterative approach.
- Create prototypes using motion comp sketches and UI storyboarding.
- Steer UI/UX design efforts through leadership approvals, iteration, and cross‑functional implementation with occasional assistance from Production & Leadership.
- Apply a basic understanding of visual scripting (Blueprints) to jump‑in and realize designs in‑engine when needed.
- Build documentation to communicate UX vision, including items such as competitive analyses, persona designs, user journeys, wireframes, flow diagrams and interactive prototypes.
Required Qualifications
- Effective communicator with the ability to present complex ideas clearly through both written and verbal channels.
- Expertise in layout design and presentation, with mastery in using color and shape to establish visual hierarchy in UI compositions.
- Background in creating, maintaining and extending design systems.
- Proficiency in visual development and prototyping software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD; Balsamiq; Axure RP; Figma; Mural; etc.).
- Familiarity working in game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines), design toolsets, visual scripting, and production pipelines.
- Motion graphics and animation proficiency is a plus.
