We raised our seed round in February 2025 and are backed by Valley Capital Partners, Alumni Ventures, and Google Ventures.
Our first DTC product, Haven (starthaven.com), is a secure desktop app designed to help people bank online with confidence. Haven recently soft-launched, and we’re now shifting focus from building the product to growing its adoption.
About MirrorTab
MirrorTab is a seed‑stage cybersecurity startup building a new layer in the security stack — one that protects data where many existing tools stop: the browser.
For too long, companies have normalized their inability to secure data once it reaches the customer’s browser. As more of our lives and work move online, this gap has become a major vulnerability — enabling phishing, impersonation, and other forms of digital data exfiltration that traditional security tools don’t fully address.
MirrorTab is changing that. By safeguarding data at the browser layer, we’re helping make the internet a safer place to do business.
About the role
We’re looking for a Generalist Growth Marketer to become our first marketing hire and help define how Haven shows up in the world.
This is an early‑stage role with real ownership. You won’t be maintaining a mature marketing machine - you’ll help build it. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to clarify messaging, grow awareness, and run early experiments across paid, organic, and product‑led channels.
If you’re excited by early‑stage products, learning fast, and having a meaningful impact, this role is for you.
What you’ll focus on
Your core goal is simple: help more people discover Haven, understand it, and try it.
You’ll spend most of your time on:
- Paid acquisition: owning and running Google Ads (with room to expand into Meta), learning what messaging converts, and iterating quickly
- Website & positioning: reviewing and improving website copy, clarifying our value proposition, and ensuring we can track conversions and user behavior
- Social presence: growing our Instagram presence with thoughtful, human content that reflects our voice and mission
- Foundational SEO: improving on‑page SEO and helping shape early content strategy
Over time, you may also experiment with LinkedIn, email, and community — but the focus will be on doing a few things well, not everything at once.
How you’ll work
You’ll have a lot of autonomy and trust from day one.
We’re looking for someone who can take a goal, break it down, and move forward without needing constant direction. There won’t always be a perfect playbook — part of the job is figuring out what works, learning quickly, and sharing those insights with the team.
You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and product team, and you’ll have real influence over how Haven’s story, positioning, and growth strategy evolve.
Who you are
This role is a great fit if you:
- Have 1–3 years of hands‑on marketing experience
- Are a strong writer who cares deeply about clarity, tone, and storytelling
- Have working knowledge of core tools like Google Ads, basic SEO, and analytics
- Enjoy owning projects end‑to‑end and learning by doing
- Are excited by early‑stage products and the chance to help define direction
- Want responsibility, not just tasks
You don’t need to be an expert in every channel — but you should be comfortable getting up to speed quickly and taking ownership.
What this role is not
- It’s not a brand‑only or content‑only role
- It’s not a highly structured, process‑heavy environment
- It’s not a fit for someone who needs step‑by‑step guidance on basic marketing fundamentals
Why MirrorTab
- You’ll be the first marketing hire at a newly launched product
- You’ll help shape marketing strategy, not just execute it
- You’ll work on a mission‑driven product focused on safety and trust
- You’ll gain experience across paid, organic, product, and growth marketing
- Competitive compensation with meaningful equity
Location: Bay Area (mostly remote, with occasional in‑person time)
We care more about curiosity, ownership, and execution than perfectly polished resumes. If this role feels like a good fit, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed.
